Wala Sa Ayos (WSA) put their act together in the second half of the game to score a come from behind 61-57 victory that sent them to the second round of the playoffs and eliminated archrival TFC.
TFC, behind balanced scoring from its players, took advantage of the cold shooting of WSA in the first half to post a 12 point halftime lead 33-21. Paul Nicdao led the TFC attack during the first half with 7 points as TFC displayed its impressive running game. TFC had its biggest lead at 24-11 in the first half.
In the second half however, WSA slowly chipped on the lead of TFC as Lester Dabu discovered his shooting touch and TFC started missing attempts. Dabu scored 14 of his game high 16 points in the second half.
WSA finally caught up with WSA in the last two minutes at 54 all. With time down to 16 seconds, WSA had built a 59- 55 lead behind the heads play of Dabu and Michael Alegarbes, and had ball possession. At this stanza, TFC quickly fouled Alegarbes and sent him to the free throw line. Alegarbes calmly sank the two free throws that gave WSA a 61-55 cushion. In the ensuing play, TFC’s Arvie Dazon scored on a lay up as time expired to make the final score 61-57.

i told yah this will go down the wire but alerted a bit by the end result wsa over tfc...no disrespect to the wsa but tfc losing???there must be something going on inside this basketball team's psyche...as per coach phil jackson the ZEN master would love to allude to...anyways, wsa to further advance must now realize that they can play with sense and cohesiveness..
1) must know who can SHOOT the ball to the hoops...dabu, alegarbes, raymundo, fernandez,vergara
2) MUST KNOW WHO HAVE THE HANDLES...VERGARA, RAYMUNDO, ONIATE
3) MUST CREATE SPACE FOR DABU, ALEGARBES, FERNANDEZ FOR POINTS
4) MUST USE SPEED (BECAUSE YOU HAVE IT, DODOs) AT CRITICAL PERIODS OF THE GAME (WE CALL THAT DICTATE THE PACE OF THE GAME)
5)USE BENCH FOR PRESSURE DEFENSE

Maybe you guys should just stop bickering like girls and just settle your differences on the hardcourt.
How about a TFC vs. Blazers exhibition game? All you need to do is ask the committee. I'm sure it won't hurt the league to schedule one, now that we're in the semis.
Or maybe a TFC against Red Bulls, perhaps?
Instead of yacking away, lets do it on the hardcourt and then shake hands after the game... win or lose?

ah, toughluck, I just love hearing those phrases at the end. I agree with you. But, when you comment next time...grab a thesaurus and look up another word for suck...that is...if you have a thesaurus, which I doubt due to your over-used word "suck".
